Global Operations Analytics LLc (GOAL) is looking to hire a Director of Business Development in Chicago, IL. If you are a self starter and have an entrepreneurial spirit, this is your golden chance to build up a new business with a dynamic team.
The Director will work with the executive team to identify, evaluate and complete business development opportunities relating to our new IT services business unit – Farscan.
Responsibilities
• Execute all elements of business development for Farscan, from sourcing through negotiation and contract completion in the following areas:
o Custom Software Development
o IT Managed Services
o Internet marketing
• Specific duties will include prospecting for, identifying and qualifying business leads, initiating customer visits, presentations & proposals development, leading/assisting advertising and promotional work to support marketing efforts, maintaining current and potential client contacts, responding to inquiries.
Requirements
• Undergraduate degree in marketing, computers science, or business administration. MBA preferred.
• Professional services background preferred.
• 7+ years of business development and/or client services marketing experience with at least 3 years in the technology industry.
• Proven track record of identifying and delivering commercially viable opportunities.
• Rolodex of contacts at small to large businesses within the state and/or State Government entities
• Successful track record of managing deals and accounts.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to translate negotiations into key contractual language requirements for deals.
• Strong oral and written presentation skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Significant travel with in the state of IL is required.
